Langjährige Erfahrung im Blockflötenbau, musikalische Leidenschaft, handwerkliches Können, Geduld und Neugier sind unsere Zutaten für den besonderen Klang. Wir spielen unsere Blockflöten intensiv mit mehreren Revoicings ein, wodurch sie professionell belastbar werden und jede Flöte ihren einzigartigen Charakter entwickelt.
Wir verwenden ausschließlich ökologische Öle ohne synthetische Zusätze oder Sikkative.
Longstanding experience, craftsmanship, patience, curiosity and a passion for music help form our recorder’s specific tone. Each instrument is tested extensively and undergoes multiple revoicings before leaving the workshop, resulting in recorders that develop their own individual character; while meeting the demands of professional use. We exclusively use eco-friendly oils without synthetic additives or siccatives.

Unsere frühbarocken Blockflöten (Fryba) kombinieren den weit tragenden Klang der frühen Instrumente mit der präzisen Intonation im modernen barocken Griffsystem. Sie lassen sich sehr intensiv aber auch leicht spielen. Dank ihrer Wendigkeit, verbunden mit Klangfokus, Raum und Intensität, sind unsere Blockflöten vielseitig einsetzbar: Späte Renaissancemusik, Literatur des Frühbarock und barockes Repertoire, aber auch Folk, zeitgenössische Musik oder was ihr wollt…
Die Stimmungslänge liegt zwischen der typischen Länge der Renaissance- und der Barockblockflöten. Damit kann in der Sopranlage das cis““ 01234567 oder 01 345 7 und in der Altlage das fis“‘ ohne Becherabdeckung gespielt werden.
Frühbarocke Sopranblockflöten in 415 Hz sind auch mit historischer barocker Griffweise und Einfachlöchern erhältlich.

Our transitional recorders (Fryba) combine the clear tone of early instruments with the precise intonation and chromatic flexibility of the english fingering system.
Light and easy to play, these instruments pair a nimbleness with a focused sound that lend them to a variety of repertoires and styles; whether late renaissance, 17th century, baroque, folk, modern or contemporary music…
The tuning length lies between that of the typical renaissance and baroque recorders. This allows the soprano high c# and alto high f# to be played without the need to cover the bell.
Transitional soprano recorders in 415 Hz are also available with historical baroque fingerings and single tone holes.
Hochbarocke Altblockflöten | Modell Blockflötenschmiede

Alt in f‘, 415 / 442 Hz
Der Klang unserer barocken Altflöten ist voll und schön. In der Höhe sprechen sie sehr leicht an, gleichzeitig haben sie Spielraum, um den Klang zu formen und die Tiefe ist stabil und rund. Mit den Tonhölzern Kirsche und Hard Maple haben sie wenig Gewicht, was die Belastung der Hände und Handgelenke deutlich verringert und ein unbeschwertes Spiel ermöglicht.

Alto in f‘, 415 / 442 Hz
Our baroque alto recorders produce a full, sweet sound. The upper register features a light, quick response while the lower register is stable and full.
Due to the low weight of the cherry and hard maple tonewoods the instruments are light; easing the strain on the hands and wrists and allowing for easy fluid playing.
Our baroque alto recorders are built to 442 hz and 415 hz.
